On Wednesday, I went down to the city to go shopping and have lunch with some friends (you have to go out to eat when you're in the city!).
First, we started at Roy's- one of my favorite furniture spots in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Then, we headed to Peet's coffee in honor of Dan and Jen's honeymoon (they went there every day on their honeymoon in California).
We did a little shopping in that area and then headed to lunch at The Pasta Bowl... delicious!
After getting sufficiently stuffed, we walked around Lincoln Park and found a GREAT resale shop... so fun! I bought a fun little dress and a pair of designer jeans (Sevens, if you care to know).
Is it just me or do these jeans look short and wide? Or is it just the way I'm holding them? It must be that, right?!
Such a fun day!

Sara, that's sooo great! It looks like you had a lot of fun. What a cute dress, and you're so right, those jeans look short and wide, but once you get them on I'll bet they're super cute. :)
Just for the record, you would not be alone in the cleaning & organizing category! I don't love to clean, but I have been known a time or two to go crazy when I get in an organizing craze. I follow this really great blog called The Organizing Junkie, check it out here: http://orgjunkie.com/blog. Laura often has contests about organizing, blog festivals, and link-ups where a bunch of people all post their links to fabulous before & after pics of organizing. It's the bomb-diggity!! :) Here's one of them I joined in on: http://rochelle-learning-to-trust.blogspot.com/2009/04/organizing-our-hallway-closet.html. Super fun!!!
Anyway, I digress from the organizing stuff.... I'm glad you had such a great time on Spring Break. I'm sure that was a really great reprieve from school craziness. Looking forward to the next post. :)
The cupcakes looked awesome. The swings looked fun. The Pasta Bowl sounded yummy, and the new clothes looked cute...although I've never heard of Sevens.
Glad you had a great week!
